Welcome to the One Boss Hospitality Event Manager Training.

We hold the Event Manager role to a high standard because this position is the movement and DNA of an event.

An Event Manager understands how all the moving pieces connect—from setup and service to transitions, timing, guest needs, and breakdown. You are constantly reading the floor, anticipating what needs to happen next, and helping move the team and the event forward.

This role requires awareness. You should know what is happening now, what is happening next, and what your team needs to be doing to get us there.

These introductory videos and key documents are designed to give you the foundation you need before stepping onto the floor. From there, your development happens through hands-on, real-time training at events.

Lock into the details and understand that these videos at one point were live zooms so we wont be covering them all today. Event Managers don't simply complete assigned tasks. You help create the pace, organization, and flow that allow an event to feel seamless to the client and their guests.
